Best Time to Go to Manaslu Circuit Trekking

Trekking the Manaslu circuit trek in any season is delightful in every respect, so the decision is really yours when to trek. However, you should be aware that the Larke La Pass will be closed by snow during the winter, so you won't be able to trek to the base camp and Tibetan border during that time, and also the teahouse in Dharamsala remains closed during January and February.

1. September to November

The best time to go is between September and November. We have a calm, gentle breeze and a deep blue sky, which give us the best view of nature to enjoy.

2. Mid-March to May

A variety of spring flowers bloom along the trails from mid-March to mid-May! Giving you the most comfortable environment. Nature is well decorated with rhododendrons making the whole forest red. Low elevations are hot and humid, which is the downside.

3. June to September

It is not a good time to visit from June to September. You shouldn't visit during these months unless it's your only time off. The monsoon season is here. You'll encounter muddy trails, and the passes will be closed. As a result, you'll have to backtrack a part of your journey.

How to do Manaslu Circuit Trekking?

Manaslu Circuit Trekking is a restricted area trek. It means you will be venturing into a remote area where few people venture! In reality, while it might sound exciting with phrases like 'the ultimate adventure' and "the path less traveled," it means one significant thing. Traveling alone is not an option. You must travel with a trekking company on an organized trek. This is your only option.
