Best season for the Luxury Upper Mustang Jeep Tour

The best time to visit Upper Mustang is during spring. Upper Mustang's major celebrations (Tiji Festival) take place in May. The festival lasts for three days and takes place on the grounds of Mustang's historic king's palace. Locals travel from all over to Lo Manthang to take part in the celebration. This allows us to learn about Tibetan culture while also engaging with locals.

Autumn is another best time to travel as moderate temperatures, dry sunny days, and clear weather allow for a pleasant trip. However, the afternoons are windy in this season while the nights are cool and comfortable.

The Luxury Upper Mustang Travel can be operated in the summer/monsoon but is relatively quiet and also the hottest time of the year. It may be wet experiences and limited views.

In winter, Upper Mustang receives heavy snowfall, accommodation gets closed, and permits are hard to obtain. It is too cold, and an inferior vision of the place.
