For over 20 years, Himalayan Scenery Treks has been deeply rooted in the Himalayas, fostering a strong bond with the mountains and the local communities that thrive here. We believe in regenerative tourism, a concept of neo-tourism that goes beyond sustainable travel. Regenerative tourism focuses on creating positive, long-term benefits for both the environment and the communities we visit, ensuring that tourism leaves a lasting, restorative impact.
Our journey of giving back started in 2018 in Gatlang village, Langtang. We collaborated with Fahan School in Tasmania, Australia, where over 40 students and teachers helped renovate the local Fahan School. This project directly impacted the lives of more than 40 students, marking the beginning of our commitment to support local communities in meaningful ways.
In 2025, we are proud to launch our Manaslu Circuit Trek and Help Samagaon School Campaign. This campaign focuses on providing much-needed supplies such as jackets, shoes, beanies, and stationery to the students, teachers, and staff of the Samagaon Basic School in Gorkha. Our goal is to improve education and well-being for this remote community.
As a 20-year-old organization that has grown alongside the Himalayas, we are committed to ensuring that our trekking experiences continue to support and uplift the communities we engage with. Join us in this important cause and help make a difference in the lives of those in Samagaon.
