Trekking Permit and Entrance Fee

Nepal is blessed with rich natural attributes and sophisticated cultural history. More than anything else it is the birthplace of Buddha (light of Asia) who led the world towards peace and serenity and the land of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha), the top of the world. It is a sovereign, independent Himalayan kingdom with India in the east, west south, and the Tibetan autonomous region of p.r. china in the north.

Nepal is rich in UNESCO world heritage sites, protected areas like National parks, conservation areas, Himalayas, and even some the part are controlled areas for the trekking so, you need to have many types of permits to enter those places and visit them, here we have given the cost of those entrances fees.

Trekking permits for the Controlled/restricted areas in Nepal

Nepal has many controlled areas for the trekking and a special trekking permit is required to trek in those parts these special trekking permits would apply through the registered trekking company like Himalayan Scenery Treks and Expedition the fees for the different trekking are as below:

MUSTANG DISTRICT

 

 

Areas of Upper Mustang

For the first 10 days US$ 500 per person and after 10 days US$ 50 per day per person, or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

 

GORKHA DISTRICT

 

 
 
 

a. Manaslu Region

From September to November US$ 70 per week per person and after 7 days US$ 10 per day per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency. From December to August US$ 50 per week per person and after 7 days US$ 7 per day per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

 

b. Areas of Chhekampar and Chunchet VDC (Sirdibas-Lokpa-Chumling-Chhekampar -Nile-Chhule Area)

From September to November, per person US$ 35 for the first 8 days, and from December to August per person US$ 25 for the first 8 days or equivalent convertible foreign currency

 

MUGU DISTRICT
Areas of Mugu, Dolpu, Pulu and Bhangri

For the first 7 days US$90 per person and after 7 days US$ 15 per day per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

 

MANANG DISTRICT

 

 

Areas of Nar and Phu

From September to November, US$ 90 per week per person, and from December to August US$ 75 per week per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

 

DOLAKHA DISTRICT

 

 

Gaurishankar and Lamabagar

Kanchenjunga Region (Areas of Olangchung Gola, Lelep, Papung and Yamphudin VDCs)

BAJHANG DISTRICT
